Knoll Ridge Grand Opening

This morning marked the first for many things. It was the first day for 2009 that the Express and Waterfall T bar lifts have been in operation, and it was the first day the new Café and facilities at Knoll Ridge were open for the public.
Steve McGill, Whakapapa Area Manager, led the grand opening ceremony with a ribbon cutting and toast to the efforts of the community, contractors and staff for completing the facilities in time for school holidays.
A number of excited skiers, snowboarders, trampers and guests were the first to visit the facility and staff was excited to serve.
